2012 Delcy Award – Residential Bath $30K to 60K (Wynnewood, PA)

Project Description:

Our client’s hired us to design and renovate their outdated hall bathroom. The existing bathroom was accessible from the main hallway & bedroom. The existing isle between the tub and vanity was only 28” wide and left little room for movement. We closed off access from the bedroom, providing much needed wall space to accommodate a vanity. We placed the tub in front of the window and added a new fixed frosted window for privacy. Our client liked a Pottery Barn vanity but was only available with double holed faucet vanity top. Since they wanted a single holed faucet, we custom fabricated a vanity to match and vanity top. Our client did not want a shower curtain or full glass enclosure, so we added a custom hinged splash panel. Realizing the limitations of the space, we developed a design that was sleek, functional & roomier.
